I will read your screenplay three times, and for feature-length work, I will provide a minimum of ten typed pages of analysis and recommendations. As you can see from my sample analyses, this tier of service often runs much longer.

As long as your screenplay is at least 95 pages long, this service also includes up to an hour of free followup phone consultation or four free followup emails to answer questions you might have about my analysis and recommendations.

For this rate, you also get reading and analysis priority over basic analysis clients.

A series of phone and email consultations will guide you from the birth of your story to its completion. You can begin with a concept, a character, a logline, an idea, a synopsis, a treatment, or an outline. I will teach you everything you need to know about screenwriting and will help you construct three-dimensional characters, a compelling plot, a dynamic three-act structure, memorable dialogue, and everything else that a great screenplay requires.

If you've already taken advantage of my services to develop or improve your screenplay, I'll help you craft a concise and compelling pitch and polish your presentation.

Writing Services

If I have already analyzed your screenplay, I'll write a concise and compelling logline and query letter for you.

If you've already retained me for Script Development Assistance, you can hire me to write a treatment or outline based on the work you've done with me.

This service involves no changes to the story. I will, however, clean up the writing, improve the script's word choices, and punch up the dialogue within the limits of the existing scene structure. No scenes will be added or deleted.

I will rewrite your screenplay from the ground up to clarify and dramatize its theme, tighten up and improve its plot, sharpen its characters, improve its dialogue, and polish its form and use of language. The price depends in part on the amount of work that has to be done.

If you own the rights to an article, novel, short story or other property you'd like to adapt or you have a story you'd like to direct or produce but you're not a writer, you can hire me to write the screenplay for you.
